For a first necklace, most of our customers start with a chain: the Josh 5mm Cuban (4.9 from 458 reviews) or the lighter Nixon rope chain. Both are 316L stainless steel, so you can shower, train and swim in them. Want something with meaning? Add a pendant or an engraved tag.
Are SAAR mens necklaces waterproof?
Yes. Every SAAR CO piece is waterproof, sweat-proof and heatproof. To keep the shine longer, keep it away from harsh chemicals and pat it dry with a soft cloth after it gets wet.
Will my necklace tarnish or turn my skin green?
No. Our mens jewellery is made from premium 316L stainless steel with rhodium or 18k gold plating, plus a 925 sterling silver range. It’s hypoallergenic, so you can wear it 24/7 without a rash or green marks.
Is it real gold or real silver?
Our 925 range (Cooper, Mark, Jayden, Patrick and the sterling sets) is solid sterling silver. The rest of the range is 316L stainless steel finished in rhodium (silver), 18k gold plating or black.
How does the engraving work?
Pick an engravable piece, choose Personalise and type the name, date or initials on the product page. We engrave it in-house in Melbourne and dispatch it the same day if you order on a weekday before 11am AEST. Engraved pieces are personalised for you, so they are final sale.
How fast is shipping?
Shipping is free across Australia and New Zealand. Weekday orders before 11am AEST, engraving included, leave the same day. Standard delivery in Australia takes 2 to 8 business days and Express 1 to 3. Melbourne customers can also pick up from 1 Queens Road.
What if it isn’t right?
Unworn items in original packaging can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery through our Returns Portal. Every piece is also covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing faults.
I’ve never worn a necklace. Where do I start?
Keep it simple: one plain chain you wear every day. The Nixon 3mm rope chain ($65) is easy to wear under a shirt or over a tee; the Josh 5mm Cuban has more presence when you want it to be noticed. Add a pendant later if you want more.
